Trav will be joining us to give a talk specifically tailored for our club. His talk: “Magic’s Place in Vaudeville” will present a look at magicians and other illusionists in American vaudeville, with a perspective on how they fit into the big picture within that long-departed branch of show business, artistically, professionally, technically, and even socially.
Be sure not to miss this meeting!

The Magic Barn is a hidden gem located in Ashland, Massachusetts. Naturally enough, this magic location is not easily found on GPS. Here’s how to easily find the Magic Barn, which is located behind Stone’s Public House Restaurant in Ashland, MA.
Proceed to Stone’s, which is located at 179 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721. Stone’s Restaurant is pictured below:
The Magic Barn is tucked between a cluster of buildings behind Stone’s parking lot. Step-by-step directions are provided below this overview picture:
Once you’ve pulled into the Stone’s Public House Restaurant parking, the driveway forks into the parking lot directly behind the restaurant and the parking for the Ashland Professional Center (pictured below). Take the right fork and park:
The Magic Barn is located to the left of the Ashland Professional Center building. After parking, walk to the left of the building:
And the Magic Barn is revealed… Shhh.
NEMCA thanks Peter Lentros for his generosity in making the Magic Barn available for NEMCA meetings.
