Ed Eckl passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6 at his home in Beverly, MA, after a period of declining health. He was 83.
Ed was a member of I.B.M. (Order of Merlin Excelsior) and S.A.M. He also attended a number of Yankee Gatherings over the years, and was a regular invitee to the 4F Convention, apparently attending 45 out of the 47 of the annual events. Some of you may also be familiar with the journal The Precursor that Ed and Bill Miesel collaborated on, featuring ideas contributed by many of the best minds in magic.
