SELLERS
The sooner you submit the item submission form, the earlier your items reach the auction block. Both online and paper submission forms are available:
- Paper forms must be submitted to the NEMCA booth in the Dealers Room before Friday, November 8th at 6 PM. You may complete and print the blank forms available here before the Gathering, or complete at the Gathering using the form provided at the NEMCA booth.
No single-item lot may have a value of less than $25.00. Lesser-value items may be grouped into a lot with an aggregate value of not less than $50.00
Higher-value lots may have a reserve price. Bidding will begin at 50% of the reserve price. Should the reserve not be met, it is the Seller’s prerogative to accept a lower bid.
NEMCA charges a 20% Seller’s fee of the price realized for all items sold.
The Auctioneer will vet all auction items before the auction to ensure the items’ appropriateness. Should there be any issues, the Auctioneer will contact the Seller to discuss them.
Sellers should bring their items to the auction setup area between 11:30 AM and 1 PM on Saturday.
Sellers will receive their funds after all Bidders have paid their invoices.
BIDDERS
Bidder numbers are on the front of the conference badge. No further registration is needed. Before the auction starts, bidders should write their bidder numbers large and clearly on the bidder cards provided at the auction set-up area.
All bids are a commitment to pay that amount, should it be the winning acceptable bid. There is no Buyer’s fee.
All winnings must be paid for immediately after the auction. Payment may be made by cash, personal check, or credit card. Items may not be removed until they are paid for.
Invoices for each winning bidder will be generated. After the invoice is paid, the bidder should proceed to the check-out area, where a staff member will collect their won item(s). The staff member will initial the Seller’s form indicating that the Bidder collected the item.
