Honoring Dr. Morris & Chesley Young
Yankee Gathering IX was held November 14-16, 2002 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. The three-day schedule of events included Lectures, Performers, Dealers, Exhibits, a Banquet, an Auction, and a Flea Market.
The convention honored Dr. Morris & Chesley Young, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to magic, magic collecting, and conjuring history. Tragically, Dr. Young passed away en route to the Gathering, but he was remembered in heartfelt tributes at the Saturday evening gala dinner event.
The Gathering featured lectures from many experts in magic history and collecting, and we are extremely grateful to these speakers for making the convention so memorable:
